I’m happy to announce that on Saturday, May 18, 2013, The Posey County Historical Society will meet at the Red Wagon restaurant in Poseyville, Indiana (the one with the red wagon on top of the building…if you’re on I-64 going past the Poseyville exit, you can’t miss it!) and I’ll be there as a guest, giving a presentation and holding a book signing afterwards.

Officially, the meeting begins at 10 a.m. but there’s a 9 a.m. breakfast available….I highly recommend it; that restaurant has some amazing food. If you missed my presentation at the PCHS last year, you can catch it this year. I’m proud to be a guest of such a distinguished group as PCHS; they do a LOT of work in their home base of Mt. Vernon for the county as a whole, preserving its history for generations to come.

Hope to see you there!

In this pic I’m visiting with Gloria Boyd at the Norris City Library, where I held a signing last Saturday (April 20); Gloria’s mom was a survivor of the tornado, which went north of Norris City in White County, Illinois.
